I have always been driven by a passion for consumer protection, ethical business practices, and affordable legal services. These cornerstones influence every aspect of my work and inspire me to provide my clients with careful, thoughtful, comprehensive representation.
Before starting my own practice, I built my legal foundation at a boutique civil litigation firm in Santa Monica, California. There, I gained invaluable experience defending a variety of cases, including those brought under the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as data privacy issues, trade secret disputes, and intellectual property disputes. In addition, I spent significant time helping businesses navigate legal a variety of other legal issues including contract drafting, negotiation, and disputes; intellectual property development and protection; regulatory compliance; and internal investigations. This broad experience allows me to effectively serve a broad array of clients.
Prior to my admission to the California Bar, I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and my B.S. in Natural Resources and Geospatial Technologies from the University of Vermont. My background in Natural Resources allowed me to spend a significant amount of time as an environmental lab technician while pursuing my undergraduate degree. This informs my science-driven approach to advocating for consumer protection in the food and cosmetic space.
Before starting this practice, I honed my legal skills at a boutique civil litigation firm in Santa Monica, California. This experience equipped me with the tools necessary to effectively represent and advocate for consumers who have been victims of deceptive food labeling and marketing practices. I was involved in various CLRA (Consumer Legal Remedies Act), ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), data privacy, trade secrets, and investigations, which prepared me to advocate effectively for consumers and influencers alike. My work additionally included resolving startup contract disputes, assisting with incorporation, managing trademark issues, and negotiating influencer and affiliate marketing agreements. This diverse experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of the legal challenges faced by consumers, small brands, and influencers alike.
I graduated from UCLA School of Law in 2022 and from the University of Vermont with degrees in Natural Resources and Geospatial Technologies in 2019. Outside of professional life, I am an avid skier, cyclist, weight lifter, and fitness enthusiast. These activities reflect a commitment to a healthy lifestyle and align with my dedication to promoting safe, transparent, and ethical production of consumer goods.
